RAVA IDLI




Ingredients:
Rava (Semolina): 1 cup
Yogurt: 1 cup
Carrot: 1 grated
Cashew: 1 tbsp cut into small pieces
Coriander:  1 tsp chopped
Green chilli: 1 finely chopped
Soda bi carb: 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Water   

METHOD:  In a bowl add rava, yogurt, salt, chopped coriander and green chili, grated carrot and cashew pieces and mix well to form a thick batter without lumps.  Check consistency. Add a little water if needed. The batter should be of pouring consistency.

Just  before making idli, add the soda bi carb and mix well.  Grease the idli plates with oil.  Add a ladleful of batter into  idli plates. Steam in a steamer for 15 minutes.
Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
